When people tell you who they are, you should believe them. Wesley Tahsir-Rodriguez is a Health Equity and Advocacy Leader – we know because he has a giant banner on his LinkedIn profile screaming his bias to America.
The American people made it clear in November that they wanted the type of bias that Tashir-Rodriguez is peddling removed from American government.
Mr. Tahsir-Rodriguez shared a post bemoaning the fact thatthere are not more racial minorities in leadership positions in healthcare,demanding that promotion be equivalent to a racial groups composition in thepopulation as a whole.
Tahsir-Rodriguez’s demands would require that leaders set aside the various qualifications of individuals when promoting leaders and instead focus on making sure that a certain number of each race are reflected in the promotions to leadership. Leaders should be judged on merit and their qualifications, not whether they check a racial box. Tahsir-Rodriguez’s enthusiasm for racial quotas run against the policies that Americans demanded in the last election.
