Scientist with the Wrong Squad Goals

Manu Platt is extremely active politically, with nearly 90 liberal political donations since the 2020 Presidential cycle. These range from being an early supporter of Elizabeth Warren and Kamal Harris’ 2020presidential campaigns, to more recently being a repeat donor to The Squad. (See above)

The Squad is a radical progressive group of Congressional Members that supports defunding the police, authored the Green New Deal, and believes everyone should be guaranteed a federal job, among countless other radical ideas.

Race is Greater than Plagiarism and Anti-Semitism

Manu Platt seems to believe that being a black woman should qualify you for leadership positions above all else. In a retweet, he defends Claudine Gay, the Harvard University President that was forced to resign over multiple accounts of plagiarism and an egregious failure to denounce antisemitism and violence on campus after the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks.
