Dr. LeeAnn Bailey's presentation from March 10,2021, titled 'National Cancer Institute Equity Council Overview,' is a blatant example of how political correctness is hijacking our scientific institutions. Instead of dedicating her efforts to the critical mission of curing cancer, Dr. Bailey has chosen to indulge in the left's obsession with 'Health Equity' and 'Diversity.' In her slides, she focused on creating workgroups to push diversity over scientific merit.
In collaboration with the Biden Administration, Dr. LeeAnn Bailey has pushed forward the "Moonshot Scholar Program," which prioritizes the radical agenda of diversifying the cancer research and care workforce over a fair, merit-based system that should treat all Americans equally. This initiative appears to be more about advancing apolitical ideology than about ensuring the best scientific minds are at the forefront of cancer research.
