Despite states and localities banning woke DEI agendas, federal bureaucrats are warming up to do gymnastics around any laws they see as offensive. Take Dr. Leandris Liburg, for example. As Acting Director of the CDC’s Office of Health Equity, she’s encouraging DEI leadership to be more “strategic and tactical in this moment in order to continue to move this agenda forward,” saying that “this is where the rubber meets the road.”

On top of that, number ONE in her six leadership priorities is “establishing a sustainable infrastructure that is not easily dismantled during changes in administration.” She isn’t stopping at the states. Dr. Liburg knows the Trump administration is going to quash her radical agenda and she has been preparing for it. The Republic can’t afford to have radicals like Leandris Liburg in leadership.

Dr. Leandris Liburg wants the CDC to “embody anti-racism and anti-oppression in all aspects of the organization.” So, the people who oversee the administration of your flu vaccine don’t just have to be medical experts, they need to go through a rigorous process to determine if they’re racist or not.

Maybe we should second guess the leadership of the agency that shut down our lives and told us to put masks on two-year-old's when it comes to what’s most important for our national public health agency.

“There is inclusion of the community served and there is balance in power and decision-making when we’re working in an anti-racist organization…so identifying and addressing stigma and discrimination can facilitate improved intervention outcomes.”
